Work Related Learning Teaching Assistant position
35hrs p.w Term Time Only
Required as soon as possible
Grades 5-6 – Depending on Experience
(Pro Rata £18,148.65- 19,874.35 per annum)
We are looking for experienced, flexible and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to work in an exciting and lively environment – an age 8 to 16 day school for students with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH). We can offer training and further professional development to successful candidates who want to make a difference to the lives of students who need your support.
Previous experience in classroom and learning support is desirable although applications will be considered from recently qualified individuals or from those in related positions. The post will involve working alongside the teacher in the classroom and working one-to-one with students, both onsite and offsite.
We offer excellent CPD and an extensive induction programme. This post would be suitable for an experienced TA or a suitably qualified person wanting to commit to the challenge of working to attain the highest possible achievement with challenging students.
